             പ്രകൃതി സംരക്ഷണങ്ങൾക്ക് നൽകിയ സംഭാവനകൾക്ക് "ബ്ലൂ പ്ലാനറ്റ്" പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ഒരു ജപ്പാനിസ് സസ്യ ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞനായ ഡോക്ടർ അകീരാ മിയാവാക്കി (Dr. Akira miyawaki) രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയ ഒരു പ്രത്യേക രീതിയിലുള്ള വന നിർമ്മാണമാണ് "മിയാവാക്കി ഫോറസ്റ്റ്(Miyawaki Forest) അഥവാ Crowd foresting.

      What is Tree Transplantation? 

 The process of transplanting a tree to another place is called Tree transplantation / Tree transplanting / Tree relocation. Although the scientific branch of tree transplantation has been successfully practiced in foreign countries and some states of India, it has become popular in Kerala only recently. This technology is used to relocate trees that are standing there or are part of road development, trees that have fallen due to wind, etc. without cutting them, from the places where new houses or buildings are planned to be built. Also, this process is being used for landscaping garden applications. There are many factors to consider when planning to transplant a tree. Hard soil such as red soil and clay in the area where the tree is to be transplanted increases the chance of success. While taking the tree to another area for planting, it should be ensured that the vehicle traffic is smooth. It should be ensured that the wheel of the cart does not sink into the soil at the site. The health, shape, and structure of the tree to be transplanted are important factors. The transplanted tree must be able to regrow enough roots to sustain itself. The age and health of trees after transplanting should be considered before planting. Priority should be given to transplanting trees within the appropriate project site. Thus, it is possible to increase the survival rate of the trees after planting and reduce the loss. November and December are favorable months for planting large trees. Deciduous trees should be transplanted in the spring and evergreen trees should be transplanted in early spring and summer late August to mid-September. This process is called Tree burlaping technology. A great technique in the transplanting process is that after a few months, the roots of the transplanted trees are removed from the root ball without removing the sack and twine. Root ball preparation Root ball size varies by species, habit, and location.
